After a first edition at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris in 2011 and a second edition in 2012 at the Musée Gallo-Romain in Lyon-Fourvière, we are ready for a new challenge in 2013: holding six local Museomixes in six museums at the same time.

  • The Château des Ducs de Bretagne in Nantes
  • The Louvre-Lens
  • The Musée Dauphinois in Grenoble
  • The Ironbridge Gorge Museums in Shropshire
  • The Musée de la civilisation in Québec
  • The Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris

Please note that you may apply for one local museomix only.

[section titre=”Who can participate?”]

Anyone can contribute to the collective achievement of a new museum experience.

We have defined six profile categories to create multidisciplinary teams of six for the event. Those teams will bring together know-how in design, communication, writing, mediation, art history, research, scenographic design, interaction and UX design, fabrication, technology, web development and more… More information about the participant profiles here.

The selection process is the result of multiple criteria that aims to foster balanced multi-disciplinary teams with various and complementary skills.

It’s up to you to decide which category you best fit in, and to tell us what you can bring to a team!

This call is only dedicated to museomixers who want to be part of a team, however you can also participate as a facilitator in aiding the teams on specific needs. Anyone wanting to help with organisation or facilitation, please contact Museomix directly. More info on facilitation roles will be provided in the coming weeks.

Please note that to help finance the event, selected participants will need to pay a £50 contribution for the Shropshire event. More info here.
