Museomix, it’s 3 days co-creative marathon!
Belgium, Croatia, France, Equator and this year Museomix is also held for the first time in Africa with Sénégal! Youll’ be able to follow the event in the 8 places on this page in Mons, Zagreb, Dakar, Quito, Saint-Brieuc, Lille an Nice.
Museomix is an event coorganised between local communities and museums, they’ll be running th event from November 9 to November 11. The teams goal is to reinvent the exhibition spaces of the museums to create interactive, fun and innovative experiences.
The visit of prototypes will be open from Sunday 11 à 4 pm freely and without any fee in each museum participating.
2018 November 9: Day 1of mix!
The event started at 8:30 am French time, the teams are built, they visited the museums and are creating their concept!

November 10, 2018: still mixing!
While the activity is still intense in Quito, Saint-Brieuc, Mons, Caen, Nice, Lille, Dakar and Zagreb, the teams progressed on their prototypes! Archeology in Nice, science and technology in Zagreb, the inventiveness of the participants is limitless, and their motivation flawless.

Second call for participants is over!
Museomix is a lab for reinventing museums. It is an opportunity to mix innovative ideas and people, to think and collaborate.
Museomix’s mission is to let people take ownership of the museum, encouraging visitors to see museums and their collections in another way and allowing participants with wide-ranging passions and professions to meet and collaborate.
Over 3 days, Museomix opens museums to professionals with a variety of skills. Museums become playgrounds to experiment and prototype new ways of mediating content and culture. It enables new relationships between cultural institutions and users in co-working projects. Its energy springs from the variety of its participants and contributors!
