We thought it might be useful to get in touch and tell you a bit more about what is happening for MuseomixUK as well as how you can help us to get more participants on board.
Meet up & Tweet up
Next week (Aug 13) there is a meet up in London for participants and anyone who is interested in museomix to chat. We will be at the Dana centre (part of the Science Museum) for a drop-in session 1-5pm, followed by a tweet up at Porterhouse in Covent Garden from 6pm. You are welcome to join.
Second Call for applicants – We need your help
On September 9th we’ll be issuing a second call for applicants. This is your chance to encourage friends, colleagues and others who didn’t manage to sign up the first time to give it a go.
We need more participants who are 2D designers, makers (to build stuff), tech people (to build digital stuff) but also sponsors. This is where you can help us by:
– Talking about Museomix to people you know who might fit the profile
– Letting us know if you have any thoughts on where we could place our call to reach all communities for the next round of application in September
– Or even getting involved in the organisation of museomix
